Dean of the College of Fine Arts Takes Part in Master’s Thesis Defense

Prof. Abbas Abdul Hussein Kuaish, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Al-Mamoun University, took part in the examination committee for the master’s thesis entitled “Visual Semiotics and Artificial Intelligence in Awareness-Raising Advertisements,” submitted by student Fatima Jamal Hussein to the College of Applied Arts at the Middle Technical University.

The thesis examined the use of visual semiotics and artificial intelligence techniques in the design and production of awareness-raising advertisements, exploring the role of signs, symbols, and visual elements in constructing meaning and conveying health and social messages to the public.

The examination committee, chaired by Prof. Kuaish, comprised a panel of distinguished academic specialists. The defense took place in a specialized scholarly atmosphere, and the committee accepted the thesis and awarded the student a master’s degree in her field.

The Dean’s participation underscores the University’s scholarly and academic presence and the contribution of its teaching professionals to supporting scientific research and artistic and creative disciplines.
