Al-Mamoun
University has won its second consecutive Iraqi university billiards
championship. The championship drew 216 players representing public and private
universities from across Iraq, a competitive field that reflected the growth of
university sports in Iraq.
The win is
the result of the University Presidency’s continued support for student
athletes and the Student Activities Division’s work in preparing the teams and
helping students perform at their best.
We are proud of this well-deserved title and look forward to more wins in future championships.
