At the invitation of the Parliamentary Education Committee, the President of Al-Mamoun University, Prof. Abdulrahman Hameed Majeed, took part on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in a meeting held at the Council of Representatives to discuss the draft law on private education. The meeting was attended by a number of presidents of public and private universities.
The meeting featured academic and legislative discussions on the draft law, aimed at developing the higher education system and enhancing the quality of private education in Iraq.
