Dr. Ali Al-Hashimi, a faculty member in Al-Mamoun University’s College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, met with the Parliamentary Youth and Sports Committee at the committee’s invitation.

The meeting focused on the state of the youth and sports directorates in Iraq’s provinces and their plans to improve youth and sports programs. The discussion also covered the readiness of sports facilities and the legal and administrative challenges that followed the transfer of the directorates from the Ministry of Youth and Sports to provincial authorities.
