The Classical Poetry and Ceremonial Emceeing Competition concluded its rounds as part of the student activities programme organized by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority for 2026. The event was hosted at the National University of Science and Technology and Al-Ain Iraqi University in Dhi Qar Governorate, running from 19 to 23 April 2026, and drew extensive participation from both public and private universities across the country.

The competition saw a distinguished presence from Al-Mamoun University, which stood at the forefront of participating institutions, affirming its sustained cultural and academic visibility and its unwavering support for student talent and literary creativity.

This competition is situated within the broader efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to reinforce cultural identity and refine the literary capacities of students — with the aim of cultivating a generation that brings together scholarly distinction and artistic creativity.
