Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Moscow Honors Al-Mamoun University Students

Moscow – The Iraqi cultural office in Moscow arranged a recognition ceremony to assign the students at Al-Mamoun University after completing the education training program at Belgorod State University, Russia, which went on for several weeks. The ceremony took place at the attaché's headquarters, and was attended by Iraqi Cultural Attaché Professor Dr. Nazir Jasim Al-Obaidi and head of the delegation Assistant Lecturer Samer Adel Abd, alongside the participating students. In his address, the Cultural Attaché praised the students' efforts and involvement during the training period. He emphasized that such an effort contributes to the introduction of new opportunities for Iraqi students to strengthen the education cooperation between Russian and Iraqi universities and to gain new competence and knowledge. "The participation of Al-Mamoun University students in this program is an effective model of international academic collaboration," he said. The training program consisted of theoretical and practical lectures in many disciplines, in addition to field tours and research projects, which helped to develop students' skills and improve their educational experience. The students, in return, expressed their gratitude to the Cultural Attaché's Office for the recognition and continuous support. They ensured that the experience was enriching and fruitful, and will positively impact their future academic and professional life. It is worth noting that this training comes as part of Al-Mamoun University's efforts to strengthen international cooperation and provide training and educational opportunities for its students abroad, contributing to the development of Iraqi higher education and improving graduate competency.
