Prof. Dr. Samir Dawood Salman, President of Al-Mamoun Private University, visited the University of Babylon to sign a twinning and scientific cooperation agreement between the two universities. In the presence of some deans, assistant deans, and heads of scientific departments of the host university, a meeting was held between Prof. Salman and Professor Dr. Amin Al-Yasiri, President of the University of Babylon.

This initiative is one among many efforts aimed to strengthen academic cooperation, scientific exchange with reputable Iraqi universities, and expand scientific research and curriculum development partnerships for Al-Mamoun University. At the signing ceremony, Professor Salman stated that this agreement is a cornerstone of the university's academic outreach strategy and supports the quality of higher education through enriching institutional linkages.

On his part, Professor Yasiri welcomed the move and praised the spirit of openness and integration which characterizes Al-Mamoun University. He indicated that the agreement will yield some very good results towards the educational and research process in the country.
