In recognition of his active scientific participation in the conference of Karbala Health Directorate on orthopedic surgery and fractures, Al-Mamoun University's College of Medical Technologies, Department of Radiology and Ultrasound, honored Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Wajih Al-Shahwani.

During the conference focusing on modern techniques in managing both complicated and simple pelvic fractures, Dr. Al-Shahwani chaired one of the scientific sessions and contributed to discussions on presented research focusing on surgery and modern therapeutic techniques.

The event was attended by a distinguished group of doctors, researchers and orthopedic surgery and fracture consultants from various Iraqi universities and healthcare institutions across all provinces of Iraq.

This honor is part of the university's commitment to assure that it shall always support its distinguished academic staff by promoting their scholarly contributions to national forums that enhance the advancement of scientific research and health sector.
