During the 12th Arab Youth and Junior Archery Tournament held in Tunisia from April 24th to May 4th, 2025, Adel Ghalib Jabbar, a freshman at Al-Mamoun University, has achieved a notable athletic accomplishment, representing the Iraqi national youth archery team.

Due to his advanced performance and distinguished skills demonstrated during the local qualifications, Jabbar was nominated by the Iraqi Central Archery Federation, which qualified him to represent Iraq in this important Arab sporting event.

Recognizing this accomplishment, the deanship has contacted the university presidency to formally honor the student for his dedication and success. Recommendations include featuring his participation on the university’s official website, encouraging his continued involvement in campus sports, and entrusting him with the responsibility of establishing a university archery team.

Through its continuous support to student development, Al-Mamoun University, spares no effort to support  student presence in both national and international arenas, developingp their potential across various scientific and athletic disciplines.
