Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Abdul-Karim Hussein Ismail, Dean of Al-Mamoun University College, and in the presence of Dr. Nather Jasim Al-Obaidi, Iraq’s Cultural Attaché in Moscow, and Dr. Natalia Yuryevna, Vice-Chancellor for International Relations at Belgorod State University, Al-Mamoun University College inaugurated the Institute of Russian Language Studies.

Dr. Maria Anatolievna, a Russian language instructor from Belgorod State University, will supervise the institute and lead efforts to equip enrolled students with advanced Russian language proficiency. The institute aims to streamline the learning process, enabling students to acquire linguistic skills essential for accessing Russian academic programs, scientific resources, and cultural knowledge.

This initiative serves as a strategic bridge, offering students simplified pathways to pursue advanced studies, refine their expertise through global academic exposure, and enhance Iraq’s scientific and cultural ties with Russia. Additionally, the institute will highlight academic opportunities available at Russian universities, particularly those facilitated through collaborations with Al-Mamoun University College.
