Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean, Professor Dr. Abdul Karim Hussein Ismail, the Division of Continuing Education and Scientific Development held a scientific symposium entitled: (Ways to Employ Artificial Intelligence in Architecture and Interior Design). The symposium was presented by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Talib Jassas (Representative of the Ministry of Culture). A number of faculty members and students of Al-Mamoun University College participated in the symposium.
In this regard, the esteemed Dean emphasized that interior design relies on search algorithms that determine consumers' tastes through their browsing data. Artificial intelligence also allows computers to activate filtering features based on these preferences, enabling companies to implement any type of design style based on customer preferences. Interior design is an art that brings elegance and comfort to one's life, manifested through enhancing the aesthetic value in a specific space. People invest a lot of time and money to maintain the interior charm of their homes, apartments, and offices.
Like many industries, artificial intelligence has made its way into this field. When it comes to interior design, AI tools help create customized décor by reflecting the owner's personality while being comfortable and elegant at the same time. Consequently, this technology has a significant and positive impact on the interior design industry. Where customers used to spend a long time visiting markets and design professionals, today they can explore design solutions through their smartphones and computers wherever they are.
