Al-Mamoon University College Joins Counter-Terrorism Conference at Al-Bayan University

Upon the invitation of Al-Bayan University and the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service (ICTS), and with the attendance of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, the Director of ICTS, Lieutenant General Karim Al-Tamimi, the Director of Private University Education, and Dr. Haider Al-Mulla, President of Al-Bayan University, Al-Mamoon University College participated in the conference organized by Al-Bayan University in cooperation with the ICTS. The event took place at the headquarters of the ICTS on May 13, 2024, under the slogan (Conference to Support the Prevention of Terrorism and Its Extremist Ideology).

The college was represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Taif Sami Hassan, from the Department of Cyber Security and Cloud Computing Engineering. Ten students from the same department also joined the conference. Dr. Sami delivered his research paper entitled "Cybersecurity: Reality and Aspiration" in the cybersecurity axis, where he explained the great role of cybersecurity and its techniques in combating digital terrorism. His presentation was well-received by the attendees.
