Central Library

A reading hall open to students and teaching staff, with printed and digital collections managed on an integrated library system, external lending and electronic resources.

About this facility

The Central Library holds a reading hall seating groups of students, book cases along the hall walls, and both shared and individual study tables. It serves every department of the university and receives students and teaching staff during official working days.

Its services combine the printed collection with electronic lending and access to digital collections and databases, alongside support for research and independent-study skills and cooperation with the libraries of other academic institutions.

The ministry's sub-committee for the supervision of university libraries inspected the library, reviewed its base register and collection records, and confirmed the adoption of an integrated library system and of documentary, descriptive and analytical method in its bibliographic work.

Its role

The library is the facility that carries the syllabus beyond the lecture hall: it is where a student finishes a set reading, prepares a graduation project, and reaches the digital sources that are not held in print.
