Vision, mission and objectives

Vision

To graduate specialized personnel to work in the field of anesthesia and intensive care technologies in operating rooms, as well as in intensive care and recovery units. Graduates will be awarded the title of "Medical Technician/Anesthesia Specialist" and will work in anesthesia administration, clinical monitoring, equipment operation, and patient follow-up in operating rooms, intensive care units, and recovery rooms.

Mission

To provide a stimulating educational and research environment that fosters learning and innovation, contributing to the preparation of highly qualified graduates, achieving effective local and international scientific collaborations, and strengthening partnerships with various sectors of society.

Objectives

The department aims to prepare highly skilled healthcare professionals specializing in anesthesia technologies to work in healthcare institutions. Graduates will be responsible for:
Preparing the patient before surgery in the operating room; Administering appropriate doses of anesthesia; Operating and maintaining anesthesia equipment; and Handling anesthetic agents used in patient anesthesia.
